Terms
Last updated 17 August 2026
Plain terms for using Dott while it is in early access. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it in writing.
Early access
Dott is still being built. Features may change or disappear, and there will be occasional downtime. We will tell you before anything you rely on goes away.
Your account
Keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person.
Acceptable use
Do not use Dott to break the law, to store other people’s data without their permission, or to attack the service. That is the entire restriction list.
Your content
Your tasks belong to you. You give us only the permission needed to store and display them back to you, and nothing beyond that.
Availability
We aim for a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted access during early access. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
Payment
Dott is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, existing accounts will be told well ahead of any charge, and nothing starts billing automatically.
Ending it
You can close your account whenever you like and take your data with you. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why.
Liability
Dott is a planning tool, not medical, legal, or financial advice. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the app.
